Compassion [ kuhm-pash-uhn ] noun:
A feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.
Latin “com” meaning “together” and “passion” meaning “suffering.”
To suffer together.
If there is anything this world needs right now, it is compassion.
Despite the daily chaos, dissent, unrest, division, and death, I continue to believe that there is hope with each passing day.
There is hope for a better future for our children, and it starts with us, standing together, in the midst of inconceivable suffering.
After much prayer, I’ve decided to introduce Compassion Sessions.
These will be mini sessions dedicated to mothers who are struggling, who may feel alone, invisible, and unseen. . .
I would like to offer a mini session to a mother within the Black & POC community to celebrate her and the beautiful life she has built. My desire is to capture her story so that she feels seen, valued, and loved.
Do you know a deserving mother who would love photographs of herself and her littles? Maybe she is currently going through something difficult, has suffered a loss, is currently expecting, has just had a little one, is a single mom, is struggling financially, emotionally, spiritually, or simply just deserves to have her story honored because she’s a gift to you, and everyone around her.
I want to hear about her!

* Basic details of her story are required.
* All Compassion Session nominations must be received by Tuesday, June 23, 2020, 9:00 pm, PST.
*Gifted Compassion Session must take place within 30 miles of 91762 (Chino, California) by August 1, 2020.
Selected Compassion Session Nominee will be notified on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
