We received our copy of “Some of Us, All of Us “ the other day, and Aimee hasn’t been able to put it down. It is perfect for her reading level, so sometimes I will find her in her room trying to sound out the words on her own.
This adorable little book celebrating diversity is written by the talented author, artist, and mama of three, Lezlie Mitchell, @lovelezlie, and also my Compassion Session Selected Nominee, who I will have the joy of photographing in just a couple of weeks.
Although I had never met Lezlie prior to her nomination, speaking to her during our Pre Session Consultation felt like conversing with an old friend. I love how motherhood brings us together — no matter what season of motherhood we are in, we are able to relate to one another on a deeper and more vulnerable level.
