I am excited to finally share with everyone my most recent Maternity and Family Gallery of the Chou Family.
Beautiful mama, Mei, is expecting her first son and second child at 38 weeks in these images with her husband Andrew, and their 20 month old daughter, Emily.
As I shared before, in their Sneak Peek Gallery, this Session was taken in the middle of an unprecedented heatwave while California wildfires were blazing out of Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, sending smoke and ash into our skies. We had briefly considered rescheduling due to the extreme conditions, but 38 weeks is definitely pushing the envelope with Maternity Photographs! Had we waited any longer, I was afraid the Session might turn into a Birth Session!
Despite everything, the Chous were understanding and absolutely wonderful to photograph! They were such troopers to be withstanding such heat with barely a sweat. I remember at 38 weeks during my own pregnancies having difficulty simply getting out of bed under normal circumstances!
When I asked Mei to share a little about her experience working with me, I was nearly brought to tears with her kind words and glowing review.
