I’m sharing today a Sneak Peek from an In Home Portrait Session with baby Miles and the Lin Family! Little Miles was born two weeks before the pandemic consumed the nation this year, so, most of his life has been at spent quarantined at home.
Life is far from normal these days, and I cannot imagine what it must be like for recovering mothers and their partners to be going through the postpartum period and much of a child’s first year of life under the threat of a deadly virus whose symptoms and lasting effects are still largely unknown and changing daily.
What is certain and what we can cling to in these times is the love we have for each other, and that “home” has been redefined from a building of four walls, to each other — to the embraces we share, the kisses we steal, and the memories we create together.
“Home” is what I sought to capture in these images.
“Home” is “us.”
