It was my first time ever recording a podcast, and naturally, I was SO nervous — but Lezlie was such a gracious host. She asked such thoughtful and insightful questions and created a space where we could share an intimate, heartfelt conversation about what it means to be a highly sensitive person, how it connects to the creative process as an artist, the expectations of motherhood, and the importance of holding on to the tender moments while simultaneously acknowledging the truth that nothing lasts forever. And that is precisely what makes them so precious.
