“My husband and I got married in October of 2020 and welcomed our firstborn son, Ryan, this year. We are very much in love and awe with him.

I am really looking forward to our Newborn Session and to have something I can look back on once he is all grown up. I wanted to do a maternity session as well, but because COVID got really bad towards the end of my third trimester, I was sadly unable to do so.

That is why this session has much more importance to me.”

I had such a wonderful time photographing Rosio, Cruz, and their baby boy Ryan at almost 6 weeks old in my natural light Studio based in Orange County, California. Like so many families affected by the pandemic over the last three years, the Gonzalez family was disappointed to be unable to document their once-in-a-lifetime first pregnancy, but even at 6 weeks old, it wasn’t too late to capture little Ryan in all his squishy newness.

I am so grateful to have been able to photograph this Newborn Session for the Gonzalez family. Life may not always go as planned, but remember that it is never too late to capture the beautiful life you’ve created.
